Join Our Buddy Walk Team
Dear Family & Friends,
We are writing on behalf of our boys, Sam & Jack. We are very excited to be part of the 2009 Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk promotes acceptance and inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome. We ask you to walk with us because our boys are important to us. We are so lucky that so many people love and accept Sam & Jack. We are so lucky because our boys are accepted within our circle without a doubt. Help us raise awareness about Down syndrome so Sam & Jack become the boy next door. Help us celebrate Sam & Jack!
Sam is now 2 ½ years old and is doing very well. He loves Elmo, playing outside, being with other children and has vocabulary of 60 words, using both sign language and verbal speech. Sam has touched our family in ways we never could have imagined, and continues to do so everyday. We realize Sam is truly a gift, and would love for you to walk with us and celebrate his life.
Jack is coming up on his 2nd birthday. He is just the most amazing little guy. He loves to laugh and play. We are so lucky that he is part of our life. Jack has a way of making anyone feel special. He has this aura about him and folks are just drawn to him. John & I are incredibly proud of Jack and we are proud to be his parents. We want you to join us in celebrating his life. Please walk with us.
